What Without Remorse is about
John Kelly is a former Navy SEAL and Vietnam veteran whose wife died accidentally six months before the story opens. Grieving and adrift, he befriends a young woman with a troubled past. When that past catches up with her in a horrifying way, Kelly vows to take revenge on those responsible.
At the same time, the Pentagon is planning an operation to free key prisoners from a North Vietnamese POW camp. Kelly knows the terrain around it better than anyone, so they want him. Code-named Mr. Clark, he must juggle both missions while facing skilled enemies at home and abroad. The novel shows how an ordinary man became the CIA legend Mr. Clark, and it will suit those who like their thrillers tense, procedural and morally hard-edged.
