Add a whole list of books in one paste
Copy a list from a note, a spreadsheet, or a library or order history page on any store or app, paste it into BookWard, and your books are found for you.

Select all, copy, paste
The same three shortcuts work almost everywhere.
On a Mac
On a PC
Copy your list
Open your note, your spreadsheet, or the library or order history page of any store or app (Audible, Amazon or Kindle, Barnes & Noble, Kobo, Apple Books, a library app, or anywhere else that lists your books). Scroll until every title has loaded, then select everything and copy.
Paste it into BookWard
In BookWard choose Add books, then Add several at once. Paste into Paste a list for a note or spreadsheet column, or into From a store or app for a whole page.
Let BookWard find the books
A clean list is picked up straight away. A messy note can be tidied with one button, and a whole store page is read by BookWard, which pulls out the titles and ignores the prices, narrators, menus and buttons. Each book is matched to a real book record with its cover.
Choose a shelf for each book, then add
Choose Read, Want to read, or Skip for each book, or mark them all at once. Nothing is added until you press Add.
What you can paste
- A note: one title per line, or messy notes like "I loved Sapiens and Educated". One button tidies it.
- A spreadsheet column: copy the column of titles and paste it. A clean list is picked up straight away.
- A store library page: select the whole page and paste it, prices and all, then press Find the books.
Looking for a way to import an Audible or Kindle library?
Stores do not offer an export for an app to read, so BookWard works from the page you can already see. Copy it, paste it, and review the books it finds, each matched to a real book record with its cover and first-publication year.
Common questions
Which stores and apps does it work with?
Any of them. If you can open a page that lists your books in a browser, you can select it, copy it, and paste it in. That includes Audible, Amazon and Kindle, Barnes & Noble, Kobo, Apple Books, Libro.fm and library apps. Notes and spreadsheets work too.
Does BookWard connect to my Audible or Amazon account?
No. Most stores do not offer a way to connect an app to your account, so copying the page is the reliable route. BookWard only reads the text you paste.
What if the pasted page is a mess of prices and buttons?
That is fine. BookWard reads through the text, pulls out the book titles, and ignores menus, prices, dates, narrators and buttons. You review the list before anything is added.
Is anything added before I confirm?
No. You choose Read, Want to read, or Skip for each book, or mark them all at once, and nothing is added until you press Add.
Is my pasted text sent anywhere?
Nothing leaves your browser except the text BookWard reads to find the titles. For a whole store page, that text is read by BookWard's AI to pick out the books. Read the privacy policy for details.
Can I import from Goodreads or StoryGraph instead?
Yes, with your export file. See how to import from Goodreads.
