Why the reasons matter
A five-star rating tells you a book was good. It does not tell you why, and that is the part you forget. BookWard asks for a quick tap on what stood out and, if you want, a line of your own. Those reasons are what let recommendations explain themselves: this pick is here because you loved the practical, short chapters in that book.

How long does it take to get started?

How many books do I need before recommendations are good?
Even five or six rated books give BookWard something to work with, and the picks get sharper as you add reasons and notes.
Do I have to use the AI features?
No. The shelf, ratings, notes, imports, and cover wall all work without AI. The AI features are optional and have a fair daily limit.
