What The Tyrant's Tomb is about
Apollo, living as the mortal Lester Papadopoulos, brings Meg and the body of their fallen friend Jason to Camp Jupiter in the San Francisco Bay Area. Lavinia and Hazel Levesque help them on the way, and praetors Frank Zhang and Reyna Ramírez-Arellano greet them at Camp Jupiter.
The camp's hope may lie in the forgotten tomb of Tarquin, the last king of Rome, who has returned. Elsewhere, Ella the harpy and Tyson the Cyclops are busy rebuilding the Sibylline Books. Apollo, Meg and Hazel are sent to Sutro Tower to destroy a soundless god and claim Sibyl's Jar, which is needed to win divine aid. This fourth Trials of Apollo adventure carries grief and sacrifice alongside its action, and it will suit readers already following the series.
