What Captain Underpants and the Wrath of the Wicked Wedgie Woman is about

George and Harold have done it again. Their teacher, Ms. Ribble, announces she is retiring at the end of the year, and the two friends respond the only way they know how: with a comic. In it, Ms. Ribble becomes "The Wicked Wedgie Woman." It seems like harmless fun until a prank involving a card that looks like a marriage proposal from Mr. Krupp sends things sideways, and Ms. Ribble lowers the boys' grades so they must repeat fourth grade.

From there the story turns into a full superhero showdown. A 3-D Hypno Ring makes women do the opposite of whatever the wearer says, and Ms. Ribble transforms into the very villain the boys invented. She kidnaps them and builds robot copies. Mr. Krupp has to become Captain Underpants to face the robots. It is silly, fast, and full of school-day mischief, a good pick for young readers who like their friendship stories with a lot of laughs.
