What Ruby the Red Fairy is about

Fairyland owes its colour to seven sisters, the Rainbow Fairies, and it has all gone wrong. Jack Frost has sent them far off, and unless they come home soon, the whole place will fade to gray for good.

Two girls, Rachel and Kirsty, step in to help. Their search begins in an unlikely spot, the pot at the end of a rainbow, where they find Ruby, the red fairy. She is only the first, though. Six sisters are still missing, and the clock is ticking. A bright, easy first chapter book for young readers who like friendship, a clear villain and a rescue to cheer for.
