What The Scorch Trials is about

Thomas believed that getting out of the Maze would mean freedom for him and the other Gladers. He was wrong. WICKED is not finished with them, and Phase Two has begun. The Gladers now have two weeks to cross the Scorch, the most burned-out stretch of the world, and WICKED has changed the variables and stacked the odds against them. Others are involved this time, and their survival depends on the Gladers failing. Tense and fast-moving, the story tests trust and loyalty as friendships strain and some bonds break. It is a good fit for readers who like dystopian survival stories and for anyone who has finished the first book and wants to know what comes next.
