What The Enchantress Returns is about
Alex and Conner Bailey are twins who have not set foot in the Land of Stories since their first adventure there wrapped up in The Wishing Spell. Now the fairy-tale world is frightened again. The Enchantress, the sorceress who cursed Sleeping Beauty, has come back with a score to settle, and her malice is not staying put. It spills over into the twins' own world, and she takes their mother.
With so much at stake, the twins hit a wall closer to home: their grandmother has told them to stay out of it. Getting back into the storybook realm means disobeying her and finding a route of their own. Part rescue story, part family tale, it leans on courage, loyalty between siblings, and the question of when breaking the rules is the right call. It follows The Wishing Spell in the Land of Stories series and suits readers who enjoy fairy-tale characters in fresh trouble.
