What Nightfall is about

Sophie Foster is grieving and worn down, but she refuses to be beaten. In the sixth Keeper of the Lost Cities book, the Neverseen have scored real victories, yet the fight is far from over. Sophie and her friends switch tactics and accept painful sacrifices, and Sophie may have to place her trust in her enemies. Every path now points toward Nightfall, an ominous door leading to an even more ominous place, and reaching it means striking a dangerous bargain. Beneath the quest lies a darker puzzle: Sophie must uncover the truth about the Lost Cities' insidious past before history repeats itself and changes reality.
