What Quicksilver is about
Saeris Fane is twenty-four, a skilled pickpocket who has also robbed the Undying Queen's reservoirs, and she has always hidden the odd powers she carries. A meeting with Death goes wrong, and she accidentally reopens a gateway between realms. She is flung into a land of ice and snow where the Fae, long dismissed as legend, are very real.
Saeris finds herself in the middle of a war that has dragged on for centuries, and she is the first of her kind to walk the frozen mountains of Yvelia in more than a thousand years. By mistake she ties herself to Kingfisher, a handsome Fae warrior who keeps secrets and has plans of his own. He means to use her Alchemist's magic to shield his people, whatever the price. The twist for her is that Death has a name, and he may be her only road back home.

How we know
This page uses public data: Open Library reader counts and ratings, and Wikipedia page views. The description is paraphrased from real source text (Open Library or Wikipedia). A book is on the Rising chart only if it was published in 2025 or 2026 and its readers are active and its interest is not falling. Rankings reflect reading interest, not quality or sales.
