What Mile High is about
Evan Zanders is a hockey player for a Chicago NHL team, and he is everyone's favourite player to hate. He spends much of every game in the penalty box and leaves the arena each night with a different woman on his arm. Stevie is the new flight attendant on the team's private plane, and she has years of experience in the job. She has also promised herself never to hook up with an athlete again.
Zanders resents that she works for him and plans to make her beg to quit by the end of the season. Stevie finds him unfiltered, unapologetic, and far too attractive for his own good. Told from both of their perspectives, the story follows a romance in which every road trip blurs the lines between them, and the public image gives way to the real person.
